I’ve grown my practice from a one-person show seeing 35 patients a week to an eight-person team treating 150+ patients a week, all while growing in my marriage, as a parent, and as a human being. I’m not perfect. I’ve had some really great teachers and mentors, and I’m deeply committed to authentic, genuine growth at the deepest level. To me, that means waking up each day inspired and invigorated to help people heal, and to help others help people heal.

Healing is my thing. I grew up in a household where suffering was the dominant state of being. My mother grew up with trauma — alcoholism, sexual abuse, being poor, untreated family depression. So naturally, she suffered. She suffered physical pain, mental pain, and tremendous shame. She dealt with it by self medicating with whatever she could get her hands on: drugs, alcohol, sex, and food. I’m the oldest of six children and I stood in for her when her suffering overwhelmed her ability to be a present parent (her intentions were always good, but untreated trauma has a way of taking the driver’s seat). As a kid, I just wanted to help. I understand that as an adult, my capacity to help when I was a child was pretty limited, but my desire to help others was born of witnessing this kind of overwhelming suffering.

I believe that we have the power to heal, at every level. I believe that we are amazingly capable of shifting things. I believe that we can transcend familiar patterns and realize our dreams. This is my life’s work. And I want to help you shine more brightly in your life. By helping you to help others. By helping you to own your power, do the work you came here to do. By helping you to live deeply, fully and present-ly.

This is my greatest passion. To help. To heal. To make it real.

I offer experience. As a busy clinician, with a multi-faceted practice, employees, as a committed mother, a present partner and healer that still works on healing her own stuff. I know that sometimes you can see the path forward, but not exactly how to get there. I offer guidance along your path, based upon my training and real-life experience.
